Fishing Trips Lake Erie – Fall
This is a great time to catch a trophy walleye. In the 6th annual Walleye Central Tournament held in October, we had four walleyes that weighed 39 lbs. Our biggest one was 11 lbs and 4 ounces. The biggest walleye in the tournament weighed 13 lbs and 5 ounces. With over fifty boats, we came in second place. Check with your captain to see if the fall walleye bite is happening. Yellow perch fishing in the fall is in full swing and a fun alternative if the fall walleye bite hasn’t started yet.
